The Zion School
About

Our School

Our Mission is to Empower Children Through Faith-Based Montessori Education

At The Zion School, we redefine traditional education to better prepare children aged 2 ½ to 6 years old for the future. As a microschool, we offer high-quality Montessori education free from standardized tests and rigid curriculums. Our certified Montessori teachers create a nurturing, faith-based environment where children develop essential skills, confidence, and a love for learning. We partner with parents to ensure that every child feels valued, discovers their talents, and grows in the Word.

What Guides Us

Our Vision

The Zion School envisions a future where children are free from the constraints of standardized tests and mandatory curricula, thriving in a well-ordered, enriching environment. Through certified Montessori teaching and faith-based values, we aspire to nurture confident, independent learners who recognize their worth and appreciate their God-given talents, ultimately preparing them for a lifetime of personal and academic success and service to others.

Our Mission

The Zion School is reinventing education to better prepare children for the future.  As a small, family-oriented school, we offer high-quality Montessori education for children aged 2 ½ to 6 years old. We combine faith-based values with Montessori methods to create a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment. Free from standardized tests and rigid curricula, our approach is tailored to each child’s unique needs, allowing them to learn at their own pace with individualized support from our certified Montessori teachers.

Our purpose is to provide Christian Montessori education in partnership with parents so that children may be nurtured in the Word and so that:

  • Children develop within themselves the foundational habits, attitudes, skills, appreciation and ideas that are essential for a lifetime of creative learning.
  • Children are taught by certified Montessori teachers in the peaceful surrounding of the Montessori classroom
  • Children feel the inner security in this well-ordered environment to develop the confidence to be an independent learner and have the freedom to be curious and discover.
  • Children can build, success upon success, and develop a positive attitude toward school, a sense of community and habits of concentration and persistence.
  • Children learn to recognize themselves as persons of worth and learn to understand and appreciate their talents and gifts from God. Though much has been said about the academic achievement of Montessori students, the value lies in the self-discipline, self-mastery and love of learning that the children achieve.
  • Children may be provided with this comprehensive program of education, so that they may develop their talents and skills for life and service.

The above purposes shall shape and direct all policies and programs at The Zion School.
