Founder & Director

Unetta Hedge is the Founder and Director of The Zion School, a visionary project born from her deep commitment to faith, community, and education. In 2020, Unetta's aspiration to create a nurturing educational environment for her son, Zion, sparked the idea of establishing a small, tight-knit community school in Atlanta, rooted in Christian Montessori principles. By 2022, her dream became a reality with the official launch of The Zion School, designed to support and uplift young children and their families.

Unetta's diverse journey includes working as a business consultant alongside leading thinkers and serving as a foster parent within Georgia’s Foster Care system. Her multifaceted experiences have shaped her approach to education and community-building.

In addition to her professional achievements, Unetta is a devoted wife and mother of four, with children ranging from 18 months to 17 years old. Her passions extend beyond her professional life; she treasures her relationship with Christ, enjoys international travel, and finds joy in exploring food, art, and music.
